I watched Tron: Legacy last night. And yeah, it was kinda fun and very pretty and there was even a half decent story lurking behind the crazy lightshow (way less trippy than the original, thank goodness).

BUT. All the way though, all I could keep thinking about was the lead actor person. He reminded me of someone. Two someones, specifically.



For the record that's: Matt Austin (aka 'Bridge Carson' aka the Green SPD Power Ranger) + Russell Howard (aka eternally young British comedian) = Garrett Hedlund (aka 'Sam Flynn' in the movie)

Also, explodedpen? You were right. GI Joe is somewhat bad, and not in the good way.

I'm always right, clearly :P I hadn't heard good things about it, nor did the trailer inspire much hope.

Also: MY BRAIN! It still has not recovered from when you first told me about the Russell Howard/Matt Austin spawn!

And re: GI Joe. Films that you have to switch off 20 minutes in because they're manic and incoherent and take a further 2 hours of idle thinking about to uncover a semblance of plot... I've seen better action films, let's put it like that.
