15 Years Ago (July 1996)
- Mum took me and some friends to the cinema for my birthday. Some Disney film, can't remember which, but I'm pretty sure there are photos still.
- My youngest sister was born.
- My best friend moved to Australia with her family - on the same day that Littlest Sis was born, actually.
10 Years Ago (July 2001)
- I was 14. So in Year... 9? That meant pale blue jumpers for school, where uniform was colour coded by year.
- This would be around the time I discovered fanfiction, via dial-up at a friend's house.
- We had a reasonably good relationship with Mum's long-lost half-brother still - they met for the first time just before the turn of the millennium.
5 Years Ago (July 2006)
- Just finished my first year of uni, and spent that summer sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room.
- Entering my first dry spell of fic writing. Not pleasant.
- Mostly the sofa bed. After a year of pseudo-independence, I did not like the complete lack of privacy.
3 Years Ago (July 2008)
- Just about graduated from uni the summer after my aunt died. Had supportive friends, which was awesome.
- Still not writing a whole lot.
- Started looking for a job/postgraduate options.
1 Year Ago (July 2010)
- My first full year of living truly alone, having moved out the October before.
- Wrote "Captain Becker's Diary". May not seem particularly momentous to most, but it marked something of a turning point in my writing.
- Bought a second-hand sofa, the first piece of proper furniture I've bought for myself.
Yesterday
- Spent a total of about 45 minutes in work \o/
- Made a whole lot of notes on an 18 month old WIP in the hope I can finish it by the end of this month. Ambitious, much?
- Watched the latest White Collar episode.
Today
- Busy encoding Numb3rs episodes for a fic trailer still. Upcoming deadline, eek!
- Andy Murray in the Wimbledon semi-final! Really hoping I can watch that one live.
- I don't know yet. The day is still young.
Tomorrow
- Lie in! I've been really sleepy lately.
- I will attempt to write 'x' amount of either my big bang or ancient WIP.
- AND MAYBE EVEN CATCH UP ON PRIMEVAL.
In a week
- Still with the writing.
- I need to have sussed my best friend's birthday present to get it to her by post, in time.
- I will have a first draft of a fic trailer.
In one month (August 2011)
- I will be shit broke. Four family birthdays in the space of three weeks - Mum and all 3 of my younger siblings.
- Again, still with the writing!

In one year (July 2012)
- I'll be 26 that year. Shite.
- I don't think a year ahead, don't be silly!
- Isn't the end of times due around then?
In five years (July 2016)
- I will have learned to drive and set up shop somewhere in the Home Counties on my own. Mwahahaha.
- I'll look back and wonder what the bloody fuss about the season 1 finale of Hawaii Five-0n was all about.
