Because I haven't done one of these in a while. Snatched from

1. How many clowns would it take to freak you out?
An army of them. Otherwise I'm not particularly fazed!
2. What is your favorite card game?
On the computer, I'm a bit of a Spider Solitaire addict. Otherwise I quite liked the clock solitaire game thing as a kid.
3. Tea or coffee?
TEA, DAMMIT.
4. Five things you can touch right now without getting up.
My gran, her laptop, my netbook, my hard drive pouch and an empty mug.
5. You have to be somewhere on the fourth floor of a building. Do you take the lift/elevator?
Depending on how much of a rush I'm in and how much energy I've got.
6. How do you feel about your reflection?
I try not to look at it, usually. Not a big fan of mirrors.
7. What did you last eat?
Breakfast! Bacon and egg rolls.
8. What noise, if any, does your phone make when it rings?
It's on vibrate. But it's annoying because even when it's in my pocket I can't always feel it vibrate. I've got an mp3 of Jude Law reciting the lyrics to "Poker Face" that I will one day transfer onto my phone, though.
9. Dog person or cat person?
Cat person, all the way.
10. What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?
Listening to my sister tell our gran about her drinking habits.
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
Ooh. Erm... a mother's day card.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Either Australia to visit relatives, or at least use them as a base to go exploring on my own, or Russia. I'd love to explore the old churches and place like that.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Now this is an interesting question, because I was having one of those Chats with mum the other day. In an ideal world, I'd love to have set myself up as an independent curtain maker, maybe somewhere a bit further north, either deep in the Home Counties, or just north full stop. That would require a huge boost in self-confidence, a driving license and my own car, and enough financial security to be able to run a shop on my own. Not an impossible five year plan!
14. Last book you read?
I'm partway through Neil Gaiman's "Anansi Boys" and I've finally got around to Mark Haddon's "The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time". Oh, and the sixth Potter book, but I haven't picked that one up in a while.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
I spent yesterday going very slowly and cleaning the flat, and today I'm out at mum's for mother's day. Both my sisters are here, as well as our gran.
16. What's your dream job?
See #13 :) It's not what I ever expected to be doing, but I like the possibilities.
17. Famous person you'd most like to have dinner with?
Maybe one of the authors I quite like at the moment. I'd love a chance to interrogate Jack McDevitt over a stir fry, or something!
