I've decided that I officially hate utility companies. The one supplying my electric still hasn't cottoned onto the fact that my name is not "THE CUSTOMER" - and it's taken another phone call to try and persuade them to send me out a bill that I can actually, y'know, pay.

This grown-up stuff is overrated :/

Been distracting myself by writing Primeval fanfiction. And watching Gundam Wing. Mostly the latter - had digitaljessie over last night, and a proposed marathon of the series quickly turned into an epic session of sarcastic commentary and multiple innuendos.

I've also realised that I don't have the most subtle style of writing that's ever existed. A bit like me, really - too blunt for nuance. And at the rate I'm turning characterisation on its head I'm going to need all the nuance I can get. Mind you, I actually have a solid idea as to where this particular story's going now, so there's maybe a chance I can curb things before it turns into another frigging epic.

I'm not holding out much hope though ;)

LOL! You're kidding?! It said "THE CUSTOMER" on the bill?

Sorry, I know it must have been annoying but... LOL!

Yup. It was the second bill that's arrived like that; "THE CUSTOMER, FIRST FLOOR" where there should have been my name and flat number (there are three flats on the first floor).

But! This morning a bill arrived from that same electric company - correctly named and addressed. Let the handing-over of monies begin... ;)
