Watching the new Trek movie with Other Sister - an oddly fun bonding experience, even if she has absolutely zero interest in any of the Trek trivia I've been trying to feed her for the last hour or so. LOL.

Been vidding pretty solidly for the last couple of days, as the heavy snowfall/ice consolidation has meant that The Mother cannot get into work, and if she can't there's no point me heading in. So I've hit the computer instead, metaphorically speaking. I'm actually making a video with a (hopefully!) coherent storyline, which is quite exciting. Also think I'm going to need a beta for it once I make it through to the end of the song. Gah, why is nobody I know into Primeval? *epic sadface*

Hee, oh well. I think I'll go write fic instead :D

I am so fucking jealous of your snow. I live in the only fucking tiny area of bloody Britain that isn't hit by snow, therefore I have been to work all bloody week.

Hee! Well, I only got a couple more lines of fic written in the end. In my defence, the POV I'm choosing to write this particular section in is haaaaaaaaaaard. That and I felt a bit weird writing fic while Sister was falling asleep on the sofa. So I took the netbook to bed... and ended up playing Soliatire for almost four hours. Fail.

Ahahaha, yes. I like to think my names for the various bits of the Trek movie score are only slightly less cracky than their actual names ;)

I have absolutely no idea if it's been snowing here for the last couple of days, but what is on the pavements and roads has compacted pretty well; it's a bit of a nightmare to get around out there!

And I didn't know you liked Primeval! :D How familiar are you with the first two seasons?
