New Year's Eve...!

First off... bloody hell, this year's gone quickly! Doesn't feel like the last day of December at all. Well, except for the part where today is the Grandmother's birthday, and Other Sister and I went over earlier this afternoon to wish her well and give her some flowers (best I could come up with on short notice!) before we both traipsed off again.

I'm currently at my other gran's, where I've been helping her get set up with her new internet connection. So far we've poked around her e-mail inbox, e-mailed her best friend (who lives in Australia), are in the process of setting her up with a Norton antivirus, and she's now happily playing Spider Solitaire while I poke and prod Livejournal.

...And I think I'm going to be heading off now, boring old fart that I am. Short walk from from gran's, and then I think I'll be seeing in the new year with an epic marathon of something. Of what, I don't know yet, but oh so many choices!

Hee, you are so persistent. It's adorable :P

I was actually leaning towards Merlin. Then I thought instead I could finish the Spooks boxset. And then I remembered I have all of Sanctuary to date, not to mention the last few Primeval episodes on my shelf. OH WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO PICK TO WATCH?

I jokingly told Dad earlier I was going to pick what to watch by tossing a coin. Suddenly I don't think it was a joke ;)

You know, it just might ;) Still haven't watched any more, but once I get back into a regular rhythm at work (back in tomorrow, yikes!) I'll probably find myself slotting in an episode or two each evening :)

Also, having a quiet New Year's is a good idea. I think mum, auntie and me will just have a drink somewhere and then go home.

Lol, yes. She picked up on using a mobile phone really quickly when she first got one a few years ago, so once she's had some real time to practice with the laptop and get used to what it can do, Mum and I think she'll be fine.

Sounds like you're going to have a nice, quiet New Year's as well. Star as you mean to go on, yes? :)
