a few midweek things
Dec. 2nd, 2009 10:44 amPicked up the sofa on Monday night, and it is now proudly taking up most of the living room leaving me to climb over things just to get to and from the desk. Television's now completely hidden behind the red chair, and
digitaljessie had better be coming over soon to help me rearrange everything!
Finally got my utilities sorted yesterday! :D I've got paperwork coming to me in the next week or so, but in the meantime I am now finally registered for the various things I need to be paying bills for. Next on the list, phone and my very own interweb!
I've started working on what everyone is going to get for Christmas. And by started I mean I bought The Mother's present yesterday and I'm now pondering Christmas cards for my friends. And apparently I'm being taken to a garden centre sometime soon to get a 'proper' fake Christmas tree, as the ones I liked the look of at the weekend were nowhere near traditional enough, lol.
EDIT: There's still the Christmas Post of DOOOOOOOM" if you'd like a card from me :)
Went to see 2012 last week. It was pretty awesome except I thought it would have been better if John Cusack's character had died at the end, which would have really hammered the message of the film home. Avatar's next on the list, and I think there's going to be a group outing up to London for that one, which will be fun.
And yeah, work's still as insane as ever. Sigh.
