I've said it before to so many people, and I will say it again, I do not like the Sources and Debates module at the moment. Maybe it is because I lost a good two weeks to the flu, maybe it's because the tutor's German anal.
Hell, it might even be because despite the bulk of the module's assessment -- in the form of a 4000 word essay -- not being due in until the beginning of May (right after the whole of April given up to Easter vacation), we have to hand in a nice, detailed essay plan for it ahead of time.

Way ahead of time.

Like this Friday.

I'd been planning to spend all most some a good deal of time in April working on that essay, researching, collating, blah blah, writing essay, hand it in at the beginning of May, right on schedule (even fitting the Africa essay in around it). But no. I have to know exactly what I'm doing for it, and how, and why, now.
I have research. I've collected some essays, I even have a book of critical essays on Battlestar Galactica, which Adam told me about on Monday, on order and due to be dispatched sometime this week. I have a rough idea of what I want to write my 4000 words on, within my own subset of 'religion and science fiction'.

But I am nowhere near pinning myself to a single question, nor am I anyhere close to even thinking about an essay plan other than the absolute vagaries of "Star Trek... BSG... comparative exercise?? Hm..."

There is a bright side, though...

Got a Philosophy essay, and 2000 words on Gladstone due in in exactly 3 weeks ;)
