Notified by the estate agent this morning that as far as they're concerned, my application for the flat was highly successful, and we can pick the keys up first thing on Saturday morning so I can start moving.

THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. HOLY CRAP.

So I'm now in the process of boxing up everything in my room, and going through various lists to see if there's anything else I desperately need to get ahead of the weekend. Mostly appliances and bits now, I think, that are left.

I'm also going to start backing up my laptop in preparation for a system wipe - it turns out that Brother no longer has a computer for whatever reason, and since I came back from the shopping expedition at the end of last week with a shiny new desktop computer (:D) he's getting my laptop, as he's still at uni and thus could really do with a computer. Which I think I'm going to have to have couriered down to ~~the ass end of nowhere~~ Plymouth so work and stuff is not too hugely disrupted. I'm also thinking about getting a netbook, to go with the shiny new desktop computer, but that's not urgent urgent, just something I fancy having in th enot too distant future ;)

So I'm going to be without a computer for the best part of a week, and internetless for however long it takes me to sort out a connection for the flat. And everything else. Gah, so much to do!
