More than just *lost* in translation...

Take the first lines of your last ten stories and run each of them through Translation Party until they reach equilibrium, or until the program gives up on you. Post the results.
(Basically the program translates back and forth between English and Japanese until it gets the same result twice in a row. Hilarity, or at least grammatical and semantic weirdness, ensues.)
1. On the sixteenth of April 2151, the Emperor of the Terran Empire publicly announced the existence of a rebellion within its borders and ranks.
Terran Empire 2151 Emperor May 16 guerrillas in 2007.
2. “I think if I read any more passive subjunctives my eyes are going to cross.”
My negative subjunctives "another cross, please read me."
3. Malcolm Reed was a man working on little sleep.
Sleep, most people are working MARUKOMURIDO.
4. Ducking down behind the lime green mezzanine, Malcolm checked his phase pistol for damage or impairment before darting back up to take another shot.
Mezzanine, ducking behind the green, before returning to take another shot of Malcolm, I checked the cast of damage or failure of his phase pistol.
5. "I'm beginning to think somewhere along the line someone failed to explain to the Captain about taking sweets from strangers."
Strangers "is not considered to describe the start of sweets along the line somewhere."
6. The first message in Radek Zelenka’s inbox when he booted his laptop up shortly after breakfast contained an attachment labelled: Attn. Dept. Heads Only.
First message RADEKKUZERENKA: After breakfast, your inbox, labels, attachments, start the laptop. Head only.
7. It had taken a little over three years, but Sheppard finally understood why General O’Neill kept bitching about being promoted.
Why, just three years is easy to understand ONIRUSHEPADO release and cooling.
8. The day Foreman consciously regretted agreeing to let Chase sleep on his couch was the day he learned House and Wilson were taking bets from the nurses on how long it would be until the two of them killed each other (outside odds), had a public argument about hair care products (somewhat better odds) or turned gay (apparent no brainer).
Wilson and his family BETTOFOAMAN ITASA (odds), nursing, reflection and action, care, on the sofa in the Chase for the dryer, () () is only a quiet death, and cell phone to understand you It is a contract.
9. "I'm going to get out of here," Malcolm said, rocking slightly on the biobed.
Rock said, "I'm here," he said all that I MARUKOMUBITTO biobed said.
10. Three months after seeing Daniel for the first time telling her how to use Goa'uld tech and reapply conventional Earth physics laws to adapt and make it all work, Major Samantha Carter realised that she was only just beginning to realise that things were beginning to fall apart at the seams.
[this one broke the program. LOL]
