Other Sister has decided that she will accompany the Mother and Littlest Sister (and Littlest Sister's Friend) to Suffolk for holiday. She decided this roughly three hours ago... and they're leaving tomorrow.

Tomorrow. This means I'm going to have the house to myself for a full week - and with almost no notice. I'd consider organising a party or something, except my friends are in far flung corners of the galaxy country, and most of them have university deadlines looming. I already have Monday and Tuesday sorted out - DVD marathoning with digitaljessie on the Monday, and Star Trek IMAX fun with crazy_celebrian on the Tuesday - and I'm pretty sure I have to be around during the rest of the week to take delivery of a trampoline.

IS THERE NO ONE OUT THERE WHO WANTS TO HAVE A MARIO KART 64 PARTY?

Gah. I also need to make an appointment to view a flat near Seaford rail station, which seems somewhat more spacious yet much more affordable than the cottage I went to see last week. And actually list some boxsets on eBay before they start to gather cobwebs.

On a more fun note, smallfandomfest is now open for prompt claiming and posting - you should totally check it out :D As a somewhat nostalgic aside, my very first fandom is in there (from eight years ago!), complete with prompts I submitted for it. And no, it's not one I ever associated with under my current username. I'm fun like that.

YAY! For the free house. I'd love to come... sadly, my holiday will be filled with evidence sorting. :(

And... OMG looking for a flat to rent is HAAAARD! I've just started and... omg all the things I will need when I move. I have NOTHING besides my clothes and laptop atm.

Yeah, next week's just a crazy mad week for most people, unfortunately. Oh well. At least I can spend the second half of the week knuckling down and actually getting on with my Big Bang stories!

Flathunting's a nightmare in general - and I already have most of the stuff I'll need. Just my stuff is bigger than average. Sigh. I'd be more than happy to give you a hand in that department over the summer if you need it :)

Okay, slow down! No, you don't have to change your bank account when you move; just figure out where the nearest branch of whatever bank you're with is once you get there :)

I'm doing okay as long as I look at it one step at a time. As soon as I think of the whole thing I'm going to have to do in the next couple month I get the panics. LOL

I'll be fine though. I've done moves before, it's just the being-in-a-whole-other-country that makes me a bit nervous. Luckily there's always someone I can ask my stupid questions. ;)
