...it's another. In the last month or so I've had to completely reset my computer's settings to get rid of alleged viruses and various Vista-related problems. Then the internet crapped out, and I've had to rely on my friend, my dad and unencrypted wireless.

Now it seems that the actual power cable for the laptop has decided it no longer wants to work. Well, it works if I jam it right in and hold it at a slight angle, but only for a few seconds at a time. If that.

I've got until very first thing Monday morning to find the warranty information so I can try and get it fixed. So once again, for the next however long, if I don't show up somewhere, it's because I won't even have a computer :(

I actually found the power cable from the laptop I had before this one this afternoon, and joy of joys it fits and actually works, so I have my mainstay while I try and get the warranty sorted out... it's just starting to get a bit boring now, all this stuff happening ;)

That's strange, my brother's computer crapped itself a short while ago (Vista) and last week my mums did it too (Vista as well). I wonder if that's been done on purpose... *is suspicious of everything Microsoft*

Vista's just not the most stable operating system in the world, that's all. I've been on it for about two years now, and it took about six months to seriously implode from bugginess. Still, the system wipe, while drastic, does do the trick, so I'm willing to go along with it until I can upgrade to a desktop and fiddle around with operating systems again :)
