Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

Most of the local schools and colleges are closed today because of the snowfall from the last eighteen hours or so. That includes Littlest Sister's school, but we're not sure about Other Sister's college, which wouldn't be a problem except for her art deadline which is something like midday today.

Also down are all the buses and trains - which means college for me is out of the question, even if the school itself is still open. I'm not going to argue with that, since I wasn't looking forward to "teaching" another icebreaker exercise anyway. In fairness this does give me another whole day to get my assignments up to scratch - the next lot's due in this Thursday. (Oh, yay...)

In other news... there is no other news. Clearly this is what my life's been reduced to by bloody TEFL. Sigh.

*settles in to procrastinate assignments and watch Slings and Arrows*

Edit: Looks like Other Sister and I will be swapping bedrooms today. Oh, what fun ;)

It snowed down here this afternoon. But sadly not enough for school to close tomorrow. Maybe tonight? *is hopefull* *gg*

I didn't get around to S&A in the end, unfortunately. Switching rooms with Other Sister took up most of the afternoon and early evening - so much for getting caught up on my assignments :/

I've got to resubmit a grammar exercise, and I still haven't done the question I left out the first time around. Sigh. If I get in tomorrow, I'll have at it before classes start, and neaten it up while I'm supposed to be observing the others. Gah. I'm going to be a complete wreck by the time the next two weeks are over -- at least you've got a whole year! ;)

Still got S&A on the to-watch list though :)

Good luck with the last minute exercise.

I have a Reflective Statement due tomorrow and I haven't even started... I just can't think. I taught two lessons today and wrote three full lesson plans and I am just... tired...

We will get through this!!!

The reflective statements are the best of a bad bunch, I think. Lesson plans I can just about handle, but then again I'm only teaching three times a week, and for no longer than 45 minutes each time.

Yes. We will get through this! And have a lovely long marathon of something at the end to prove we got through this! :D

I hate reflective statements. I suck at written reflection. I do it in my head and then forget about it. So, this is the worst part of the course... lol
