explodedpen yesterday, which was shiny and made of fun times, except for the part where I still have the flu and was knackered for most of the day. Weather was pretty miserable too, but the company was awesome and explodedpen enjoyed her belated birthday.
I had to go down to the theatre when I got back, where the Mother was taking part in the last dress rehearsal. I think I missed the first fifteen minutes or so of the show, but the story was fairly easy to pick up based on what I'd been hearing over the last couple of months. The villains were the best part, as always, and seriously - gayest. Hook. EVER.
And plans for this evening to settle down and actually make that Criminal Minds were well and truly derailed by the Mother's determination to have ten Roman blinds made from scratch and put up in the customer's lighthouse (!) today. Imagine how well that one went ;) I ache too much to bitch (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) but I am seriously determined to get that vid made before too much longer.
On the bright side, not doing front of house for the pantomime run anymore, but I'm still expected to put in an appearance at the Grandparents' golden anniversary shindig on Sunday. Think I'm supposed to be helping with the catering for that too, but I'm working on getting out of that.
In short: Still tired, ill and overworked. Need more sleep.
