Got a phone call from the college in Hove today regarding my application for the teaching course. I have an interview scheduled for next Tuesday; however due to a near-full booking it's very unlikely I'll get onto the course starting in two weeks. I'm much more likely to get a slot on the course running in January, but the interview's going ahead next week as incase a slot is made available on the October start for whatever reason I would be first in line to fill the space.

All of this pending the actual interview of course. Ack.

Oh, the teaching interviews aren't so bad. Is it a SCITT course or uni based?

Just make sure you've read a bit of the educational news and know a few things about your subjects. You should be fine.

Well, it's definitely not uni based. Other than that I don't really know what to call it! Should probably check on that before I go walking in ;)

I know in theory that the interview should be okay. I'm just going to kill myself from over-analysing everything before next week!

If you want to talk about it in more detail, you can try to get a hold of me over AIM one of these evenings. I've had mine last March and I still remember most of it. :-)

But yeah, figuring out what kind of course it is sounds like a good start. *gg*

Oh, I know about as much as I can about the course without actually doing it at this point. Acronyms scare me a little though ;)

And I keep trying to catch you on AIM... just for reasons entirely unrelated to college or real life in general. Guess I'll have to start signing in more ;)

Hehe, I'm usually only online between 6pm and 11pm these days, because I spend most of my days at school. *sigh*

And look at the time... bed is calling. I hate getting up early. *bigger sigh*
