Well, there's good news and there's bad news...

Good news = my laptop is being picked up by Currys tomorrow to get the keyboard and dvd burner fixed, yay!

Bad news = I will be without laptop for up to two weeks depending on repair, parts and availability and whatnot.

Times like this a girl needs her retro gaming console *grumbles*

This is an opportunity, my dear, a Golden Opportunity. To pick up a non-computery hobby... to go out and do some stuff... to go down to the local Jobcentre and apply for some temporary jobs whilst waiting for this course thingy you want to start. I presume it isn't starting till like the end of the year? September? October? November? PLENTY of time to make a bit of cash and get yourself in gear.
