Silver Lining

thelibraniniquityI've spent the better part of this week trying to contact various student finance people, rather than writing my dissertation, because of what I now know to be an oversight regarding our change of address last November.
Without going all tl;dr on too many more people, the potential crisis has been averted, and I feel a hell of a lot better now than I did twelve or fourteen hours ago. I just need to go to the income office on campus, and explain that I've taken things as far as I can, and that they will get their money as soon as possible.
Yeah.
Regarding the dissertation, however, I submitted my final title this morning, and as I explained to Gabrielle (the tutor), I would have spent this week writing as complete a draft as possible, had it not been for the crisis taking over my entire week. I'm now giving myself the weekend, and the beginning of next week to get as much done as possible so I don't burn out altogether by the deadline in just under a month's time.
