[livejournal.com profile] wihluta asked me some questions.

Which was your first scifi-love? In the show-sense.
I'm pretty sure I grew up on TOS and original BSG repeats, but my first proper sci-fi love was probably Star Trek: Voyager. It was the first show I can remember running to the TV each week to watch, and I remember that the week the finale, Endgame aired, we were at a holiday camp, and all hell broke loose when my dad informed me I would not be allowed to stay in the chalet to watch "some silly Star Trek show". Needless to say I found a payphone, made like E.T. and persuaded Mum to tape it for me to watch when I got home.

What do you want to be, when you've finished studying?
I used to jokingly say that I wanted to be a novelist, or at least start getting published as a fiction author, especially after the very vivid dream I had last summer about my best selling debut novel (!). On a more realistic note, however, I know that after graduation this summer I want to be able to start making myself truly independent from my family, and into a position where I can live comfortably without having to rely on the help of others. How I get to that position, however, does not fuss me particularly, as long as the work is consistent, and interesting enough to rein my attention span in.

Do you like Custard? Have you ever tried it together with double chocolate muffins? (If you haven't, do so!)
I think the last time I had custard and liked it was when I was five or six years old. Nothing since then, I'm afraid. Double chocolate muffins, on the other hand, well... ;)

Do you collect stuff? If yes, what?
My goodness, I collect all sorts of things! I have an extensive DVD collection, mostly drama and science fiction, that I am able to afford almost purely because I don't drink, smoke or drive or socialise, outside of this interweb thing ;). My CD collection is ever expanding. I have several 'fancy' notebooks, mostly gifted to me, that I have never written in, but keep because I think they're pretty. I also have a pretty nifty collection of Star Trek books, both novelisations and 'original' novels. Oh! I also have Star Trek: First Contact in several formats; original VHS, limited/special edition VHS, DVD release, the novelisation, and a limited edition 'Introduction to...' VHS that I found at a flea market several years ago!

Comment if you would like to be asked some questions.

*dreams of double chocolate muffins*

And : LOL to notebooks! I keep buying them too, because I think they're pretty and maybe sometimes come in handy when I get my great big novel-idea. ;-)
