sgabigbang? Stalled at the writing stage. bau_bigbang? Submitted one piece of (actual) art, but the trailer's still in limbo, though I have kind of figured out how it's going to come together. iepisode? I'm up to a really boring episode, and self-bribery really isn't working. startrekbigbang? Stalled because my epic co-author and I can't co-ordinate time on the internets to start writing :( The plot's awesome though :D
On the other hand, I have made it halfway through season 5 of original flavour CSI, am tentatively working my way through season 5 of SGA, and I'm actually contemplating finally cracking open one of the Kathy Reichs books that's been sitting on my desk for several months now ;)
Brother and Other Sister have a shared birthday coming up on Monday, so I've got to be around for various family shindigs over the weekend. Not entirely coincidentally, it was Littlest Sister's birthday this Tuesday just gone (and The Mother's a couple of weeks ago), so, yanno, I really hate August. As far as I'm aware, Other Sister will be going ahead with the inflatable sumo wrestling in the back garden on Saturday, so that could be fun to watch. From a distance.
And to counter all this self-aggrandizing navel-gazing, have a photo of my uncle and baby cousin. Who is actually rather adorable. When she's not looking down her nose at the rest of us puny mortals.
