and all was quiet on the fannish front
Nov. 21st, 2008 12:04 amI just realised I've posted almost nothing for the last few weeks. Um... oops? On the other hand my days are filled with actual productive things and I'm pretty sure I've been sleeping better than I have been in years, so no complaint on that front.
Did alterations today on some hideous (and hideously overpriced) curtains, the owner of which had at some point washed them - shrinkage had ensued, with the result that the lining was longer than the actual curtain. Cue a logistical nightmare of me crawling all over the work table trying to hold various edges and hems in place while trying to restitch said lining back in. We ended up having to clamp the curtains to the table to stop them moving all over the place. Oy.
I've finally got the last of the Criminal Minds DVD rips loaded into Pinnacle - yay me! Speaking of which, I watched the new ep, "Masterpiece" earlier, and afterwards did my usual thing of searching out reaction posts and comparing them to my own opinions. Not my usual thing is me sharing those opinions. Mostly because I rarely make much sense. But here goes :)

All of that's basically a long winded and probably way off the mark way of saying I personally thought this was one of the best episodes of the season so far.
Going back to my original point though... DVD rips have now been loaded into Pinnacle, and I'm going to have a go at making that CM vid at some point, hopefully soon. The song's only a short one, but there's a lot that needs to go in, so I'll have to see how that one goes.
I've also made myself up a little list of vids that I want to make before I do anything else. I've kept it to one per fandom for no real reason other than as a focus tool. Or something. Either way it's a to-do list :)
