Try the Pie

So crazy_celebrian and I went to see Sweeney Todd at the cinema last night, at her behest. Looking back on it in the literally cold light of day, all I can say is: don't believe the hype.

In other news, I had another dissertation meeting this morning, and it went much better than I had feared expected. My proposed outline of a particlar aspect of the politics of Kenyan nationalism-stroke-independence (yes, really) has been tweaked somewhat by the tutor, and I have been advised to seek a more analytical approach to the subject matter, lest I get caught up in an overabundance of narrative.

In other words, I now know what the hell I'm doing, yay!

So as well as that hard slog to look forward to, I also have to start making more headway with The Colder Water. Yes, I do.
