I think my brain's fried.

For pre-watershed-ness, this is the second week in a row that Doctor Who left my brain as a mushy pile of... mush.

Five words: Captain Jack. Rode. The TARDIS.

And then proceeded to flirt with everyone in sight, clearly making the Doctor even more jealous than Martha gets whenever someone mentions Rose. But not before getting the Doctor's side of the story, regarding the space station and everything that came after. The backstory from Satellite Five to Torchwood Three was nicely done, as well as the TARDIS/sports car to Jack's Time Agent Watch Of DOOM/space hopper analogy.

Loved the plot, and how they got to the year 100 Trillion (no idea how many zeroes that needs, hehe), and Derek Jacobi's Master was scary as poop at the end, moreso after he regenerated. I admit, as soon as I saw the watch I was waiting for John Simm to pop out of somewhere (he's also all I know about the finale so far, anyone who spoils me will die painfully at the hands of my plot bunnies), but the regeneration I wasn't expecting until the Professor got inside the TARDIS.

WHICH HE STOLE!!

Now trying to figure out how next week's ep is going to start...

And yeah, I had my slash goggles on all the way through this, especially as right after the ep finished, I started up WMP again, and the most perfect Ten/Jack song started playing. There were some absolutely stunning shots of the both of them in the episode though, and some more quotes I've forgotten already, except for the one in the subject line.

Jack (to everyone): "Hi. I'm Jack Harkness."
Doctor: "Stop it..."

I could probably go into a long and rambling meta about what 'Utopia' says about their relationship, platonic or otherwise, how they slipped back into the post-Doctor Dances-pre-Parting of the Ways routine (if you can call it that), but yeah, fried brain. Don't think I'm much good for anything now other than wondering how I'm going to make this Ten/Jack vid while I'm still trying to get the rest of the House eps into WMM. It's co-operating at the moment, I'm taking full advantage of it while it lasts.
