feliciakain posted a meme over on criminalxminds, whereby you list five characters and five pairings, and then use the shuffle function on your media player to list out ten songs.



1. David Rossi -- Friday's Child (Will Young)

In every man
I hear the cry of someone else

But no-one hears

2. Emily Prentiss -- We Are (Vertical Horizon)

'Cause I am sleeping on a time bomb
And I am waiting for the light to come

This one kinda fits Prentiss. Not something I'd pick when thinking of her, though.

3. Elizabeth Prentiss -- She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5)

He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else
I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door

Weirdly enough this song goes *perfectly* with the semi-AU I came up with last year for housebigbang in which Prentiss Senior and House Senior had entangled history. Sadly I didn't have enough time to write it for this year's challenge, but I might play around with it and see if I can get something shorter written. Or just vid a crossover, hee.

4. Elle Greenaway -- Paint It Black (Vanessa Carlton)

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and it has been painted black
Maybe then Ill fade away and not have to face the facts
Its not easy facin up when your whole world is black

ELLE ANTHEM! Ahem. Yeah, this would make a pretty kickass vid, not to mention her downward spiral after being shot.

5. Spencer Reid -- Do No Wrong (Thirteen Senses)

Letters keep us posted
Numbers calculated
Nothing picks us up when we are down

Another song I wouldn't have immediately associated with this particular character, but on listening to the song a couple of times, I can see the possibilities, again for a vid, since that's mostly what I'm hardwired for thinking about these days.

6. Reid/Rossi -- Seven Nation Army (White Stripes)

And I'm talking to myself at night
Because I can't forget

More of a character song than a pairing one, and could fit either Reid or Rossi with a bit of work.

7. Hotch/Rossi -- Where My Heart Will Take Me (Russell Watson)

It's been a long road getting from there to here
It's been a long time but my time is finally near

Reminds me so much of severity_softly and innerslytherin's The Expansion of Two Natures. It's a bit too middle-of-the-road to really suit either character, though.

8. Morgan/Garcia -- Oops I Did It Again! (Britney Spears)

Oh baby
It might seem like a crush
But it doesn't mean that I'm serious

Their onscreen relationship down to a T, I think. Hee, fun.

9. Reid/Prentiss -- 100 Years (Five for Fighting)

I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars

Yeah... I'm not really seeing this one.

10. Garcia/Kevin -- Cartoon Heroes (Aqua)

We are the color symphony
We do the things you wanna see
Frame by frame, to the extreme

Um, hackers of the world unite? This one actually fits, and would make an awesomely fun vid, I think :D
