thelibraniniquitySo, new House episode. That was fun.
No More Mr. Nice Guy. Yay for multifaceted episode titles. That is soCTB House.
Nice allusion at the beginning with PPTH's nurses on strike. (Random aside: NCIS has a similar thing when it returned. The characters were on a stakeout at the beginning, and one of them remarked: "Feels like we've been sitting around for months doing nothing.") The references continued through the ep were fun as well.
On the House/Wilson/Amber triangle. The joint custody thing was an interesting idea, House seeing how far he can push the girlfriend. Cuddy being brought into it... not so much. Shouldn't she, y'know, be trying to work out the nurses' strike and generally being the administrator she's supposed to be? Sigh.
House getting Wilson drunk was fantastic. HOUSE KNOWS JIMMY CAN'T GET IT UP WHEN DRUNK.
House explains how he knows this, and why he's doing it. Wilson: "I didn't know the drinks had subtext." House replies that Jimmy knows what happens when he drinks as well AND HE'S STILL GETTING DRUNK.
Cue mutual backstabbing between House and CTB, both trying to prove they deserve more of Wilson's time.
House: "She's your girlfriend."
Wilson: "You're my friend."
House: "It's not the same."
Finally, right at the end, we have what looks like an intervention. House and Amber are on joint poop patrol with Coma Guy. The camera eventually pans out, and we receive confirmation of the somewhat glaringly obvious.
House and Amber are both Jimmy's bitches.
Also! According to imdb.com, the two part finale starting in a couple of weeks?
