A theory on Procrastination

So while attempting to write/finish my essay last night, I instead spent many hours trying to get my win score on Spider Solitaire up to 40%, and reading fic that I was only thinking about in passing. In fact, there were so many things I wanted to do last night that weren't essay related, and now that I am past the deadline... my mind is blank. There is nothing I want to play, or look up, or do right now. But at least I can go get that fic written totally guilt-free now though!

Conclusion: My brain is wired to work best most during times of insane amounts of pressure. I truly am an academic adrenaline junkie.
