Feb. 11th, 2012 06:36 pmSpent the entire day today wandering around the city with mum, sister and sister's boyfriend, and a thoroughly grand time was had by all, even though it was bloody freezing! I didn't do too badly on the shopping front, though. I got a new pair of shoes, some CDs and all but pounced on the Hunger Games trilogy (thank you ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nomorefrostbite...). I also got a couple of notebooks that I'm actually willing to write in.
Fun fact: I have lots of pretty notebooks that have been given as presents over the years, but I have not written in a single one of them. They just sit on various shelves... looking pretty.
And I may have got a little over-excited at the stuffed dinosaurs in one of the toy shops. And the dinosaur shaped watering can in another shop. And a couple of History Channel boxsets that I might have to go back for when my to-watch pile goes down a little.

I've also been tinkering with a couple of personal projects that I might post about later on. I'm going to be spending 9 hours on a coach on Tuesday, so hopefully I can put at least some of that time to good use, even if I can't get any proper fic writing done. And that's something else I need to be catching up on! Bah, why must life be so time-consuming?
