I'm in Denmark!! Staying for a week with the lovely ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lady_drace who has been all too mindful of my sleepy condition and is holding off the Fannish Inquisition until I've slept. Getting here in the first place was a bit of an ordeal. Here's as much of today as I can remember.
Daddy Dearest gave me a 3am alarm to set to leave for the airport this morning, so I went to bed at 11 last night. Gave up on sleep at around 12.30 this morning and stayed up watching TV on the netbook instead.
Made it to the airport with almost two hours until my flight was due to leave. Most of that time was spent in a queue waiting to check my suitcase in. Stansted Airport: Come for the cheap flights; do not stay for the soul destroying queues or mad dashes for the gate.
In total, since Saturday night, I slept for an hour in the car this morning, for maybe half an hour on the plane over the North Sea, and quite possibly dozed off on the bus/train combo from the airport tolady_drace's place.
Spent most of the afternoon drinking lots and lots of tea, vaguely discussing plans for the week and watching Top Gear. I remember almost none of what was discussed, other than we'll be wandering around the city for a bit in the morning whilelady_drace runs a few errands and whatnot.
In the meantime, though, I am going to try and sleep. Because I hear that's good for ya ;)
