omg... STUFF!

nomorefrostbite is coming down tomorrow for a couple of days of fannish and touristy goodness. Have a hefty to-do list to get through before she gets here though, which there should be plenty of time for.

I actually posted a music video last night(!!). I started it the night before last and finished at around... maybe two this morning? An hour of encoding and uploading later, I felt so very accomplished (yay go me!). I've basically decided my New Year's resolution is going to be "do stuff, not just make lists about stuff" (actually in my head it was more like "write, bitch, and failing that, vid, goddammit") and thus I am ahead of myself already :D

Watched the first episode of Merlin this evening. "I'm sorry. How long have you been training to be a prat... my lord?" LOL!

I have somehow managed to get my 10 year old Nintendo 64 hooked up to my shiny new TV. I played Mario Kart yesterday for the first time in almost two years, and this morning afternoon I started a new game in Ocarina Of Time. Best. Game. EVER \o/

AND I HAVE CURTAINS UP AT MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW! Made by yours truly, even. Well, mostly. I did all the handstitching, which is what I do anyway. But anyway. I has a modicum of privacy when geeking out :D Blinds in the bedroom should be going up next week, we just need to wait for the timber place to reopen to get the batons and rods needed.
