I don't like Mondays

Got another phone call today from the college in Hove; the course starting next week is now definitely fully booked, but we're still going ahead with the interview tomorrow and I should be able to get onto the January course if that goes well. I pointed out to Dad that this means I will be around in November to help out with him and the Grandparents, as he has his knee operation a week tomorrow, and could be laid up anywhere from a week to two or three months. If he's on crutches for longer, then that means I'll be doing supermarket runs and generally helping out around the house here as well.

In other news I realised quite quickly over the weekend just why trying to make a post-series Garak/Bashir vid is a Truly Insane Idea. After about twenty minutes of staring at Pinnacle in frustration, I saved what I'd got so far (some rubbish titles and roughly three clips) and started making a Torchwood vid instead. As I described it to a friend, that vid pretty much consists of "the Counting Crows, sex and death." Repeat as necessary.
