The Internet Is For Porn

Just got back from another fun filled afternoon at Dad's. I was ambushed in the back garden by granny and her camera, which she's trying to fill the end of the film of so it can be sent off for development. And for anyone who knows just how little I like having my photo taken, imagine how much fun that little exchange was ;)

The grandparents are also having internet installed at the end of next week - with a wireless router, which I very much like the idea of, mostly because their computer is an eight year old... thing. Had a quick look through the booklet and other paperwork that the router came with, but I couldn't find the technical specifications of the connection anywhere. I think I'll have to wait until the technician has been and installed everything before I can find that out.

I watched the Atlantis episodes that Dad taped for me; Broken Ties and The Daedalus Variations, both of which were pretty good by SGA's standards, although TDV - as per Dad's warning - cut out a few minutes before the end. Actually it cut out just as Rodney was about to pull the deus ex machina out of his ass and explain how they were going to jump one more reality to get home, but I won't hold that against anyone, lol. Although the lack of Woolsey in the episode made me sad. He's the entire reason I'm watching the show again, dammit.

I also managed to finish the next part of the entficathon entry while SGA-viewing, which was both surprising and awesome. I'll have that finished by the deadline yet!
