Housekeeping

1. Deadline for the John/Teyla Thing-a-Thon is in three weeks-ish, so have that long to put together my assignment, which is a friendship video that can also feature McKay and Ronon. Got myself a lovely song by Bic Runga, gonna start on that in the next couple of days.

2. Crossover vid challenge's deadline is the 29th of June. Got a concept plus DVD rips and music for that one. It's mostly just to get me back into vidding for Stargate Atlantis again, although, space porn? Awesome excuse to vid :D

3. My future, it is starting to make sense. Going to start making general enquiries locally and maybe even in London, and the plan is to get some relevant experience ahead of applying for an MA in Information Management at a local university for next September. Assuming I get the experience, and even get on the course!, said MA will qualify me to become a librarian. That's pretty much all I've got career-wise so far, since re-entering uni to do a film-related degree would be way too costly and time consuming, and I'd rather keep that as a hobby anyway, if I can.

4. I finally have my desk. Absolute bargain for only £1 off eBay :D

5. OMG RESULTS DAY. At some point, I have no idea exactly when 3PM TODAY, my final set of undergraduate exam and dissertation results are released. Am scared as frak about that. Everyone is, though. But still. RESULTS. FINAL FREAKING RESULTS.
